My truck experienced engine problems on a Mon, 500miles fm my home. Nobody in the Newport Vt area was available to even take a look at the vehicle for 3 seeks. Needless to say I was in a serious Jam. Dons was able to squeeze me in within 2 days and was able to perform a complete inspection of the truck and listed all of the deficiencies found and the cost to fix each one. Most of all they gave me an honest assessment on the trucks ability to make the 500 mile return trip without breaking down. That info and honest advice allowed me to make my own decision as to how to proceed. I cannot recommend highly enough Don's Auto Service for any of your automotive needs. More than great service at a good price, you will get advice you can trust!

Have had the pleasure of knowing Scott for longer than I can remember & infect I have had the pleasure to know the family. I've know Scott since he was just hanging around his dad's shop. He has grown up with his love of cars and was always tinkering on one and learning how to fix them the right way. He would not let them out on the road unless he knew it was safe to be driving! That believe has been carried over into his fantastic newest location and equipment and service technicians, the kind, that I want to look at my car if my life, can depend on how well to check it over! Dons Auto was a great experience and a wonderful shop!

The service was done on time and the service as usual was first rate. The garage and waiting area are nicely appointed with room and amenities for those wishing to wait their service to be completed. A nice service is their storing the winter snow tires.

My car broke down on the interstate while my mother-in-law was driving it, and since we weren’t from the area, it turned into a stressful situation fast. I started calling around to different repair shops and kept getting turned away due to no availability. Then I called Don’s Auto, and they told me to bring it in and they would have someone look at it right away—and they followed through. They got my car in immediately, diagnosed the issue in a timely manner, and kept me informed every step of the way. They performed a full 360° photo inspection before service and sent detailed pictures of the problem through their app, which gave me peace of mind since I wasn’t there in person. The customer service was beyond exceptional. The team was knowledgeable, respectful, and fair with pricing. I live a little over an hour away, but the drive is absolutely worth it. From now on, I’ll be using Don’s Auto for all my vehicles.
